Love AJ Green

but AJ Green has not played a full season in 2 years now (and he's 31)

Unless its for a 4th rounder, do not want.

He can still ball but the guy is cursed with injuries. to his credit he usually plays through them to at least be a decoy.

Good thing we don't need him to play a full season.

31 for a WR is not as concerning as 31 for a RB. Ted Ginn is still fast as hell at 34 years old. Good thing for us is we don't have to rely on AJ or any other player brought in to be the main guy here. Mike Thomas is the alpha dog in the WR room.

Yeah the Bengals are going to lose him anyway and they are winless. They have very little leverage in demanding a ton of value for him unless the bidders go crazy.

If the saints got green and he stayed healthy nobody is beating the saints.

Green is exactly what New Orleans needs. Imagine being on the 10 yard line with Thomas and Green and receiver, Cook at TE and Kamara coming out the backfield. Who are you doubling there?

Yeah, not getting this trade, either. Can always pick Dez Bryant up for free. If Green didn't have serious injury issues, too, then I could see it.

Did a search of AJ Green injury history, and this made me laugh...53.6% chance of injury in 2019

Sports Injury Predictor

Site gives a history of his injuries and how much time he missed for each. Obviously put together before this season.

We saw in the playoffs that teams can take away Thomas. Can’t take away Kamara but with Thomas taken away and Kamara contained the Saints can struggle to move the ball when relying on Ginn, Smith, and Cook.

With Green getting single coverage the Saints would be unstoppable.

Sanders is 32 I agree with the mid round pick though. We aren't getting a young WR with potential for a mid round. so early 30's is our range for value WRs if we go after one

31 year old wr with foot/leg injuries in back to back years is concerning. That's not to say he comes back from a surgically debrided ankle and not get hurt either.
