Potential lawsuit? Hotel iron electrical cord prong hit and injured my face including eye.

Serious mishap earlier this morning when I was ironing my shirt. The retractable cord on the iron went haywire on me and struck my face.
Long story short:
The after care nurse provided me with a prescription for antibiotic eye drops and needed 4 stitches on cheek.
OT lawyers, please advise on if any legal recourse can be sought.
