It doesn't get much better than rodeos, cool weather, & hunting season getting going.

Funny story about the ride:

We stayed at my deer camp that night to fill feeders and trim limbs the next day. I'm drinking beer and telling my son how proud I was of him and he says, "Dad, that guy in the chute said a bad word."

I was behind the chute telling him to squeeze with his legs and hold on, but couldn't hear everything going on down in the chute.

"Really?" I asked, "What did he say?"

My son says, "He got me centered up on it, slapped me on the helmet and and said, "Are you ready to ride this mother fricker?!?!'"

My eyes got big and I asked, "Well, what did you say?"

My son replied, "I said, 'You bet your arse!' and they threw open the gate."

I was like...
