I think he would ride one of those too if you could hold it still long enough for him to get on.

He is already talking about building a chute on our working pens at the farm to start practicing on our calves.

Rodeo sucks, with all the kneeling, not saluting the flag and elimination of religious things.
Oh wait my bad that’s all the other pro sports!!
Congrats on raising a true American.
Nothing more exciting than getting on the back of a bull.

I made a gif of the ride.

As you can see it happens pretty quick. In the 5/6 year old Mutton Bustin' game, any ride away from the gate is a win. Only one kid held on longer than Lil' Clyde.

That’s how I started. We had a bunch of corriente ropers and me and friends cornered them in the arena with a panel and started bucking them. Some of the bigger one would even turn back a little.

Congrats to you and your boy. We’re headed to Conroe Tx in december to bareback riding school with my oldest

That sheep was the only one in that chute that was scared.

For some reason, this image popped in my mind as I read this

Yeah. He knows all of them. That’s my fault.

He knows not to say them in church or school though. He’s a good kid.

He’s 5. I had my 8 year old daughter with me too.

We didn’t hunt (I do bow hunt). Just having a good time and enjoying the property. It gets serious in another couple weeks.
