I don’t even need two games tbh
All I need is a half vs Seattle. Show something now that you had a full week to go in and prepare as a starter. I need to see sustained drives and points

It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see that Bridgewater isn’t the answer.... You say this like it’s not even close ... Taysom will see action this weekend and prove that he can do better than Bridgewater . Payton knows it too . Why do you think Payton isn’t committed to who is starting Sunday ?

what specifically about Teddy's play last week impressed you?
Honestly, i didn't see him do anything well. He looked confused, scared and altogether incompetent. But, by all means, lets get that guy out there instead of the guy that can actually run, and take a hit. TB has been here for what 2 years? Looks like shite. Chase Daniels looked better than TB.

Saints fans also wanted Delhomme over Brooks. Only one of those QBs ever played in a SB.

I agree, but all the people that are losing their minds right now because were starting Teddy for the time being obviously have never played or know anything about football
I must be losing my mind...and I DID play football!

Well I know I don’t want repeated 5yd check downs on third and long trailing by three scores. We may as well have just kneeled the ball toward the end of the game last week.

I don’t care who they play at QB. The offense had too many penalties and too many dropped balls. It would have been difficult for most average QBs on Sunday.
It’s not fair to say he did nothing. Bridgewater did have a few good plays to go with the mostly poor performance. Had to go look it up but check out his pass to Cook (who actually caught it), 2nd quarter, 3rd and 7 at the Rams 45 or so. Damn good throw and Cook was only slightly open. I remember thinking we needed more like that. I think he’s serviceable, but the team really has to help him.

quote:TH is a QB. Asking him to play WR, KR, RB...etc is like asking a hostess to be a sous chef. Asking TH to play QB would be like asking a hostess to be a hostess.
It's like asking the hostess at a restaurant to be the sous chef for the week.

It’s tough because I think you’d have to tweak the offense to suit TH. Is there time to do this with any success?
It’s more likely we stick with TB and design more looks for TH. I’m guessing he just wasn’t in the original game plan for the rams. We’ll find out this weekend.

Teddy looks like a guy, Taysom at least has some spark to his game.

We actually have to do the same for Bridgewater. He has not shown where he has mastered the offense either. So you simplify the offense and try to establish the run. That will be better for both. Bridgewater is thinking too much.

Do people really think that Taysom should start over TB??
It seems like 95% of "fans" do - but these are the same people that post unbearable word vomit during LSU / Saints games - your regular low-information fan.

I don't think Taysom or TTG is the answer. Until then I dont care which one it is as longer as they can get us through the Brees recovery
