Man what a sad story. What a nice man and nice family. Luckily I had the pleasure to fish him along side my parents several years ago and it was a memory I won’t ever forgot. Rest east Capt.

RIP Theophile. Thanks for all of the great times fishing out of your place. I hope Kevin and Darin and Wayne keep fishing for you. Prayers sent for family and friends.

Theophile was one of the good ones...a legend. Remembered everyone like they were his best friend.

A great guide. I went out with his outfit three times. First time the guide hooked me in the neck. Theoph took us out two years later. One of the best trips I’ve been on. I took a crap off his boat. We were in Salvador fishing a hard west wind. He still put us on the fish. I saw his place go from regular charter to vip over the years. He was a great guy. A man that didn’t deserve this fate so young. Prayers for him and his family.

Gonna miss his reports Saturday mornings on Don Dubuc’s radio show. Crazy that NOLA loses 2 local legends in the same weekend in 2 different plane crashes. RIP

Horrible news. Just saw the report on wwl radio but it didn't say who it was. When I read "seaplane" and "chandeleur sound" first think I thought was Capt Bourgeois. I came here to see if anyone might have info and my fears were confirmed.

So sad. Prayers for him, his family and all who knew him. Saturday morning radio with Don won't be the same.

Yep, we fished with him at the Chandeleurs yesterday.

Solid guy and fun to be around. Tough deal for sure.

Hope the other two folks recover quickly.
