I felt the same way for the first few months when I moved. It can be tough, especially if you move somewhere where you know no one. But you'll get through it.
Join a gym or an intramural league. Make friends. It'll help tremendously.

That’s a big part of what made me leave. People from the northeast are bigger assholes in Fl than when they are up north

The west coast is all Midwesterners. Couldn't be friendlier. My dad winters in Cape Coral and my brother lives there full time.

I visit there frequently for work. I'll actually be there in a couple weeks. Area isn't too bad. Cocoa Beach is decent and Orlando isn't too far.

So you still here baw? if you dont like jacksonville move back to that wonderful city of New orleans.
To the OP once you out of Louisiana your eyes will be opened to how shitty of a state it really is when you return to it for a visit. Just be willing to accept florida is home to alot of crazy birds. Just stay away from those and you will be fine

Tells me you've got the downs brother. Jax so much > NOLA it isn't even funny.
Ricky was right NOLA is fun to visit but to actually leave Jax for it is retard. There's hood rat stuff in Jacksonville if you moved to 504 to be bout it.
Much better culture too: Molly Hatchet, Allman Bros, 38 Special, Skynyrd and Limp Bizkit > those two or three crappy Snoop albums made in New Orleans and the Neville Bros.
I had fun in college in LA but never want to set foot there again. It's bad enough driving through to get to Houston.
