Boy do I miss Louisiana. Didn’t think I would, but I have to admit I’m homesick. Lot of Yankees here....just not the same.

You'll feel that way for a while, but it will fade. Just try to embrace living somewhere new, go out and make friends, and explore some stuff that you couldn't have explored back home.
If you still feel that way after a while, you can always move back.
