One thing's for sure- Burrow will not be intimidated by Bama. His swag and testicular fortitude will be on full display in Tuscaloosa.
quote:

“I watched every Alabama loss from the last 2 years. The one thing that I saw is that people were able to get their playmakers in space and create matchup problems for them. With what we have in right now and what we plan on doing on the offensive side of the ball, I think that’s what we’re going to be really good at.”

quote:

When asked if the talent gap between LSU and Alabama was close or perhaps equal, Burrow said, “Yeah, they obviously recruit really well, but so do a lot of teams in the country. Clemson had a good scheme and kind of exploited matchups.”

quote:

So Burrow has a method to beat Bama, but it didn’t come solely from the loss to Clemson. He’s learned plenty from film study, just not much from the mystery location where he watched it. “I was thinking about where I watched it and I don’t really remember.”...Perhaps that’s a sign that Burrow doesn’t think Alabama is quite as unbeatable as it has seemed in recent memory.

He doesn't have the arm talent of Lawrence but we should have a good chance to break the streak

Hopefully our offensive line can give him time to throw/protect him and open up holes in the running game. We need to stop playing scared. I know joe burrow isn’t scared!

It all comes down to the OL. We have the playmakers to be able to create open space and we have a QB that can throw it to Them. Only problem is can we finally stop that Bama front 7 from being able to sack the QB and disrupt the pocket causing the QB to scramble or to get sacked

That and getting the ball out quickly. If Joe has a weakness it's that he holds on to the ball too long at times. Joe Brady should be the perfect solution for that. Excited to see the new aged offense that should help offset the O line defencies

I think this team is going to feed off Burrow's confidence, it's contagious. Play to win instead of playing not to lose.

I don't know that we've been scared. They have just been better prepared and have kicked our arse. You don't beat Bama with a completely vanilla offense these days. But not even our defense really played well against them last year.

Exactly. From same story linked:

LSU’s offense will be predicated on getting the ball out of his hands quickly. That could help negate what is always a formidable Alabama defensive front.

Exactly.

Lawrence got hit a shite ton in the Natty. But he’s tough as hell and got the ball out before getting hit.

Scheme beats Bamas animals up front even due to their lack of talent in the secondary

That and LSU's rushing attack has to do WAY better. They had 12 yards on 25 carries last year. In 3 games Under O, LSU has 196 yards rushing on 100 attempts against Bama and 151 of those yards were from Canada's offense.

Come on man seriously... Why don't you name us all the QBs you feel are better than Burrow?

Aaron Rodgers?
Deshaun Watson?

Has Burrow passed up Brady and Brees yet?

I fricking love Joe. Dude wants to beat bama and knows he/LSU can. He's the perfect qb for this team. Very confident.

does anyone think that Clemson has beaten Bama because of better coaching?

Come on man, I'm a big Burrow fan, but Lawrence is the highest rated QB in the history of the 247 rating system.

One pitcher throws nothing but 100 mph fastballs - but that is his only pitch. Another pitcher has a curve, a slider, a straight fastball at mid 90's*, a cutter, a changeup, etc.

Which pitcher has the better "arm talent".

*He CAN throw 100 mph, but has max accuracy at mid-90's
