Nah, really?!?!

LINK

Reacting to what he called a "disturbing level of violence" over the past several days that left 12 shot and four dead, Baltimore police Commissioner Michael Harrison pleaded for the public's help.

"Now officer are very often in the right places and right time, but violent crimes are being committed anyway, which speaks to a certain culture of violence where criminals do not fear any possible consequences from the criminal justice system," Harrison said. "So in our opinion, that culture of violence simply has to change."

There are NO consequences for criminals in Baltimore, Chicago, DC or any other high crime jurisdiction, whereas police officers are severely constrained in what their response can be. And the justice system is a joke!

Because the police can’t protect them. There is also a lot of distrust from the past arse whippings that took place from police to perp.

Baltimore is broken and the police need to change their approach before the citizens trust again but it takes work and proactive personal approach to policing.

You mean the 'arse whippings' that took place after the riots that burned entire parts of the city and for which nobody was punished?!?! 'cause, you know, the police are nothing but racists, never mind that the slaughter is black on black, largely.

So Baltimore took Harrison from New Orleans and is getting the same results? I'm shocked by these unforseen events

Was it Baltimore that the Mayor said that BLM riots have to be given room to act out?

Yep, Baltimore’s Mayor in 2015-
quote:

It's a very delicate balancing act because while we try to make sure that they were protected from the cars and the other things that were going on, we also gave those who wished to destroy space to do that as well, and we work very hard to keep that balance and to put ourselves in the best position to de-escalate.

I read today where in LA the Crips and the Bloods were working on their own without LE involvement on a cease fire.

They interviewed SR leaders from both sides that said they were simply tired of black people killing other black people over a fricking street corner that neither one of them really owned.

Sounds like a semblance of reason is creeping in.

Nah, look what stop and frisk did to NYC's crime rates. What you need is an increase in police presence/activity and the media not to run with lies like "hands up dont shoot" which ruins police-citizen relationships.

Did you see the video from Sacramento of the police officer trying to protect the dimocratixes there? Well, she died (shot by a dimocratix), and the other dimocratixes mocked and heckled her fellow officers as they tried to retrieve her body.

Quit making excuses for these animals.

These sentences seem contradictory. The first makes it sound like most are innocent, which I agree with. The second sounds like you think most of the people are "perps".

Nah...realistic and rational enforcement. There's no traffic.
