I like the show but the first season ended so well, with BLC still being suspicious but letting the ladies go free and enjoy their lives with their kids on the beach, free from the villain that was Perry.
Now she's using undercover cops/informants to try and stick these women with a possible perjury charge? For killing a rapist?! Why is she so hell bent on prosecuting them?

Great episode! Initial thoughts:
-As someone mentioned, the detective's boner for these women to convict them for defending themselves and killing a rapist to the point she's now got an undercover informant is LOL but o well, they had to somehow connect everything I guess.
-Kidman is really good in this show. Her character is clearly batshit crazy. It's actually one of those where yea we're technically pulling for her against Mary Louise, but the old gal is probably right about her needing to get help, although who knows if grandma would be any better.
-No clue who the dude at the bar was either. If it was the theater dude then he def got a haircut and changed his look. Also, what an epic fricking big league move by Tori if that was him and she went up to Adam Scott on purpose just to cuck the husband. Full Team Tori here, we need to let those had boys breath!
-Anyone else think the black chick and her family's storyline is weird af? Seems the writers had no clue what to do with her so they went from her being this kind earthy hippy yoga chick to being the product of some weird tantric vision seeing abusive mom and some epic beta pussy dad? I mean, I lose almost all interest whenever they're on the screen.

Wow. So they knew Valee would be unable, lied to Arnold, planned on taking it away from here post-production and did it?
I would've been just fine waiting till August or December for Valee to have shot it.

In the book they talk about Bonnie coming from an abusive family, but I believe it was her father in the book and not her mother. Bonnie’s father reminds me of the dad in Sharp Objects.

I thought season 1 was certainly worth watching. Season 2 I am watching but both me and my wife seem to be struggling enjoying this one.

I’m enjoying season 2 but Jean is superior to Arnold. She is much more amateurish and the pace of the show feels a bit off from last season. Still enjoying it though and think these last few will be great
