Well, we overpaid Hill by about 20 million a year, and there are alot more worse contracts out there, so it's not all that bad

All 29 teams are interested in AD.
They would be stupid not to be.
Let's be logical though, AD isn't interested in more than 5 teams.
I don't care what he said about his "29 teams comment"

I'd do the Nets trade today if it involved all their assets not even including Russell.

What assets are that at this point?

Prince, an Atlanta 2nd, a pick which can’t convey until at least 2022, and a few players like Levert?

I think about 20 teams in the league are capable of topping that plus taking Hill’s contract.

ATL has to interested in moving up.

Crazy trade idea

Knicks get AD

ATL gets #3

Wizards get 8, 17, one or two young Knicks(DSJ, Robinson, Knox)

Pels get Beal, 10, remaining Knicks young players, Knicks ‘21 1st, two Dallas firsts.

...maybe 8,10, 17 for ATL is too much for 3 but they do have a lot of picks.

We get youth and a star for now.

A decent amount.

The most famous one I am thinking of didn’t end well for most of them, though... Magic Lakers Sixers Nuggets, including Dwight Howard. Andrew Bynum, and Andre Iguodala.

How many 4 team trades involved an interim GM? I don't think Beal is on the table right now.

That is a better question and I would think you are right.

No telling what the frick is going on in DC since they are taking their time hiring a GM.

Didn’t think about the WAS GM situation. That’s a good point.

Besides that i don’t think a 4 team trade would be that wild. You basically agree to a trade with the Knicks and then begin negotiating with the assets received.

I honestly would be surprised if the AD deal didn’t morph into at least a 3 team deal.

There were 2 4 team trades in 2000 one involving Jason Williams/Antoine walker and another involving BOS/DAL/GSW/Utah

And a 5 teamer in 2005 involving the hornets which was the biggest player wise until the KG trade I think

quote:

Miami Heat received Antoine Walker (Celtics), Jason Williams (Grizzlies), James Posey (Grizzlies), Andre Emmett (Grizzlies), and draft rights to Roberto Duenas (Hornets)

Memphis Grizzlies received Eddie Jones (Heat) and Raul Lopez (Jazz)

New Orleans Hornets received Rasual Butler (Heat) and Kirk Snyder (Jazz)

Boston Celtics received Qyntel Woods (Heat), Curtis Borchardt (Jazz), the draft rights to Albert Miralles (Heat), a 2006 second-round pick (Heat), and a conditional second round pick (Heat)

Utah Jazz received Greg Ostertag (Grizzlies)

A bag of meh.

I want at least one asset that could turn into an all star level player. Nothing in the Nets deal has that kinda potential, unless something happens with Russell. Even the Knicks have an asset with potential, and I don’t like that deal at all.

Nets can conceivably keep enough for KD and Kyrie's full maxes and DLo's cap hold.

Would need to dump Dinwiddie and Harris, while letting Napier and Hollis-Jefferson walk, though.

More likely they'd be open to a sign-and-trade to either Boston or GS for Kyrie or KD.
