Why does it take a Danish news source to break this news?

Because a murder in NOLA East isn't news anymore.

Yeah i dont know shite about finland, but i can promise if i was traveling there, I would know exactly what kind of hotel and area I would be staying at. This is fishy.

I wonder how many areas there are in Finland or Denmark where such a thing would be a legitimate concern.

The story was on NOLA.com Saturday. They just didn't include the danish backstory because they likely didn't know.

Very few but likely on the rise thanks to “migrants”

So my division is HQ’ed in Lunderskov, and I’ve been to DK multiple time. We hve plenty of danish team members here in Nola. It’s pretty upsetting that tourists, vets no less, are being killed. NOLA needs to a have a hard reset.

Apparently it's now Super 8 by Wyndham

https://www.wyndhamhotels.com/super-8/new-orleans-louisiana/super-8-new-orleans/overview

Website makes it look decent and the ratings on Tripadvisor, Hotels.com, etc. are all 4 star.

That's insane. If you didn't know any better you wouldn't think twice about staying there.......

My father is dating a german woman. They went to NO for jazzfest and got an airbnb. According to my dad the bnb was in a real sketchy area with nothing but culture around. After the leaving the festival they took a bus and got dropped off 5 blocks away at a gas station. This was about midnight and Dad's german girlfriend had no qualms about walking through the area st that time of night. Thankfully my dad has lived in the South his whole life and put his foot down and called a cab for the remanding 5 blocks. She just couldn't understand why it would be dangerous.....

I wonder if these ghetto airbnbs are preying upon unsuspecting tourists? Obviously anyone with any clue is going to stay the hell out of these areas.

Seen the same pic looking it up, I was perplexed and if seen the prices I would of stayed there myself. Just move about during day light.

This sucks especially when it's tourists. But a key detail is being ovewrlooked

An earlier post from the group, named "Blood of Heroes," said fellow riders had shared dinner with Hansen shortly before he separated from the group and went missing.

Ole boy went looking for dope or sex just about 2000 feet from their hotel. My theory is he either used grindr for cock or a random encounter for drugs at the Discount Zone gas station right there.
They had him follow down the block on foot or jumped in their car to 'go get it from my buddy around the corner'
