Or does it seem like everything is just going to keep getting progressively shittier with each passing year?

Not in the least. We get more stupid and ignorant year after year, and many seem to relish in that fact.

If things head the way of personal responsibility and economic freedom yes. If we get another president like we had the last 8 years and congress like the last 16, nope

As long as prohibition doesn’t make a comeback I’m good. If they come for my beer I will revolt

Pendulum always swings back. At some point in the next 10-20 years, Leftists and their obedient Republican cucks are going to try and retroactively tax private 401(k) contributions, which will trigger a seismic shift in political stance.

Social media, cable news, and AM talk radio have turned everyone into eternal pessimists.

I'm very concerned about the hard left shift we've seen in the last decade.

America is in decline and will continue to do so slowly. We now have more people who in leadership who want to see this country fail than at any time in the past.

Bingo! My elderly mom watches Fox news all damn day long. It's almost impossible for her to have a conversation without her bringing up some kind of fear mongering BS.

zero chance the USA escapes its judgement. Some repentance can delay it for a generation, but there is absolutely no stopping it. We will reap what we have sown. It's an absolute.

In the long term, no superpower has withstood the test of time
