I am not. Socioeconomic shifts will doom the country in the future.

This.

Eventually you run out of other people's money. Then the gravy train grinds to a halt. Then the riots start.

You will see how thin the veneer of civilization is in this country once the people who 100% rely on the government no longer have their government support.

We good until the baby-boomers start to die off. Once we lose that voting group, we screwed.

Yes, the generation that lead us into our current situation are the only ones that can save us.

Boomers are still the most conservative group alive. And you can blame their parents too.

Going to be a tug of war between dumbing down of the population through social media and massive increases in productivity through technological gains as we get closer to the singularity.

He is the greatest POTUS and should be carved into Mt Rushmore preferably with his nuts dragging on top of the others.

“While our country remains untainted with the principles and manners which are now producing desolation in so many parts of the world; while she continues sincere, and incapable of insidious and impious policy, we shall have the strongest reason to rejoice our local destination. But should the people of America once become capable of that deep simulation towards one another, and towards foreign nations, which assumes the language of justice and moderation, while it is practising iniquity and extravagance, and displays in the most captivating manner the charming pictures of candour, frankness, and sincerity, while it is rioting in rapine and insolence, this country will be the most miserable habitation in the world.”

If someone starts something serious with us, it will likely spell the end of the world as we know it.

We wouldn’t go down quietly.

Who will conserve the Bill of Rights for future generations when we teach our young that Individual Rights must be curbed in favor of State Control? Because The dominant Progressive Culture loathes individual Liberty, I’m bearish. Hopefully, future generations will preserve these things. But who knows.
