On a Rolex I agree with you, because that’s not my thing.

However, I’ve dropped way more than a Rolex into my old Mustang, which I really don’t NEED either. So I guess it’s just what they’re into.

Why waste $300-400 when you have a phone

Why the hell do we have laces on our shoes....especially in today's age of Velcro.

Why do we wear belts.....especially in todays age of elastic waste bands.

Why do we wear dress shirts.....especially when a t-shirt works so well.

If you don't know what makes a nice thing nice, then maybe nice things just aren't for you......and that's fine. Don't knock others for having taste. (this does not include every joe-blow that thinks a Rolex dive watch is a fancy dress watch)

I'm not poor. I just understand there are somethings you can buy and somethings you can't.

The point of buying a Rolex is to show off, plain and simple. It's everyone's right to buy whatever the frick they want, but it makes no sense to me to spend that kind of money on a watch. But, to each his own, right?

Don’t bother. They won’t get it.

I like it. But prefer B&R.

No. There are many reasons to buy an expensive watch.

Here's a lawyer joke I heard many, many years ago:

A big-time personal injury lawyer is hauling arse down the interstate in his new Mercedes when he gets into a terrible accident. The EMTs arrive to find the layer semi-conscious, swinging his head side to side, saying "Oh, my car! My new car!"

One of EMTs says "Dude, you have bigger problems than your car. You're missing an arm!"

The lawyer looks down where his arm used to be and says "Oh, my Rolex! My Rolex!"

I didn’t buy mine. It was given to the players of my son’s travel ball team when we finished third in the World Series in Cooperstown - the same trip that all the schmucks in my hometown paid for by way of the 25 shitty fundraisers we did that year.. but he is only 5 so he doesn’t wear watches yet so he let me have it

I had to cancel his piano lessons to be able to afford the pitching lessons, but I got a Rolex out of the deal so frick it
