Creature from the black lagoon was one of my favs and I hope they dont screw it up trying to remake it. Sandlot is another one as well.

It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World.

Just thinking about some of the shitty comedic actors they'd put in a remake upsets me.

Did you see The Shape of Water? That's basically a remake. Scarlett Johansson was rumored to star in a remake for the Universal dark universe but I guess that's been cancelled.

Jaws
Silence of the lambs

Young Frankenstein
The final sacrifice

I want an updated, yet carbon copy of blazing saddles though.

My favorite movie of all time - The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance.

There is no way you can top that cast:
John Wayne
Jimmy Steward
Lee Marvin
Andy Divine
Vera Miles
Lee Van Cleef

That movie was magic in a bottle for me.

I would prefer for no classic movies to be remade.

Why cant a movie just be great any more? And %99 percent of the time you remake a classic it ends up sucking anyway.

I prefer to leave all the great classic movies alone. I will admit, however, that I'd go see a remake of "Mr. Hobbs Takes a Vacation" starring Tom Hanks.

They probably couldn't do half the jokes though. "Look, Peg, its... its... its a white pygmy!" "Where's that albino kid?"

The Game.

It was one of Douglas’s best films. You’d have to change so much to bring it up with modern technology that it’d lose all of its luster. Watching it for the first time, without knowing what the game is, was amazing.
