Yes, that was my takeaway from our last trip to Disney about 8 years ago - all the damn fats on scooters. And it was only in the Magic Kingdom where they were so prevalent. Getting from the front entrance through Main St was a goddamn maze avoiding those things.

Disney won’t change anything about this, they go to great lengths to appease fatties including referring to them as Pooh sized people as in Winnie the Pooh, to make them feel better than calling them overweight.
Since this is about people obstructing walking paths and such, you can help me in my quest. I invented a game called ping pong South American. I go a lot in the winter and you see a lot more South Americans during this time frame. They like to walk in giant groups side by side taking up the entire walkway. You and a friend walk side by side when you see one of these groups but leave a gap between you for one of these unsuspecting walkway abusers to walk through. When they enter the trap. Shoulder check them into a friend and see how many times you can shoulder check that asshat back and forth. Maybe they will start to get the message they don’t need to walk freakin 20 people wide. Probably not, but it does help relieve stress you been building up dealing with fatties, strollers, lines, and South Americans.

God, how I hate Disney World. Going there is not a vacation - it's a chore.

Disney is a fun place to take a family but it's not the lines or the prices that can ruin a trip. It's assholes. And in Disney you have to deal with Global assholes. The best time to go is during Mardi Gras because it's packed with Louisiana people that are at least nice and cordial and don't usually walk around with a frick you attitude.

I can say this because I’m fat, too at around 30’lbs over.

Main Street is a major pain to walk through, especially when one of the parades are going on. More than once a few people would speed walk past me and the stroller only to stop in front of me to get their picture with the castle.
Worst traffic leaving a park was Hollywood Studios past Fantasmic/Star Wars night shows. The human traffic jam where Sunset Blvd meets Hollywood Blvd was unreal. If they're going to continue to have two night shows, Fantasmic needs to get a separate exit.

I don't love it, but it's a trip for the kids. We had a blast just watching them have a blast. But once is definitely enough. I'll be happy never setting foot at that place again.

With Disney the bottom line is money and the scooters help them make more money. They be would missing a ton of potential profit by not helping fatties get around.

Heading to Universal in October. I will compare the two.
Pro tip: call a cab to pick you up at the resort and drop you off. Not expensive and quick.

I wish they would just paint scooter lanes everywhere on the sides of the walkways. Keep scooters in the lane. that would solve a bit of the problem.
As a former double wide stroller pusher, they're not the problem. My biggest gripe was people that would walk right in front of me then stop. Then if I hit them they'd give me the evil eye. Don't step in front of me and fricking stop. That still aggravates me without the stroller. If you want to stop in a walking crowd, pull the frick over.

I lost the picture but I was at the grocery store once and there were two fatties side-by-side on carts holding hands staring at the ice cream section together.
I’ve never seen two skinny people eye-fricking the produce section.

I’ll never take a bus at Disney for that reason.

There is also the new "Minnie-Van" service. This is a great way to get to where you need to go quickly. Very useful if you have a dinner reservation in another park or resort.

It is a great time watching your kids have a blast. But an adult Disney trip is definitely worth every penny.

By far the worst thing about Disney when I took my family a few weeks ago.
I saw a normal size teenage girl pushing her fat arse mom around in a wheelchair at Animal Kingdom one day around 5-6pm. I'm sure she had been pushing all day....she told her mom she needed a break and her mom bitched her out because they were going to be late for something.....that was an eye opener for sure. It's amazing what some people put their kids through.

I dropped an F bomb on a fattie who rolled over my foot a few years ago. That shite fricking hurt! And then she had the nerve to look back at me and give me a look. They really don't give a shite and will practically roll over your little kids on those things. I got to the point where I wouldn't move out the way, frick them. And the sad part is you're at the Magic Kingdom with rides and cartoon characters, and here you are getting pissed wanting to beat somebody's arse by the end of the day because lard arse feels like she has the right of way to push you out (or roll over your foot). It would be one thing if it was a disabled kid or something, but not 300 lb lardass redneck bitch.

Universal still has it's walkway issues, but I don't see nearly as many scooters. Universal doesn't go through as much to make sure their rides are fatty friendly. Roller Coaster centric theme parks are almost always not friendly to fat people too. The Hogwarts ride took a lot of shite for awhile by fatties because fat people couldn't ride it at all. They finally made a few fat double seats on it, but there aren't a lot of them.
Uber works well too, have used it some.
