Disney needs to implement a code saying scooters need to yield to all walking pedestrians.

They need to put pedals on them to create environmentally friendly scooters.

All-Star is a Disney property, albeit a value resort.

Fatties are everywhere, its astounding.

Go to Universal Instead. There are very few fat people with scooters there.

This. Coupled with staying at their on site properties, the place actually encourages a healthy and active lifestyle. Hell, the walk from the Royal Pacific to the main hub at Universal is ten minutes tops and is really the best way of getting around.

Or just charge a premium like everything else? I don’t need one so I don’t know how much they cost. In general paying would deter most of these vertically challenged mofo’s I mean why not go to Disney, you get to board the plane first, you get the red carpet pretty much the entire way and back. Get fat people get fat and prosper

Ive ridden one before.

It was for my MIL and no one would go get it. I went and got it and rode that shite on the bus and everything.

Even got extra fast passes even though I told them it wasnt for me and I was just bringing it to someone.

Everyone did stare me down though, because Im not fat nor handicapped.

ETA: My MIL does have like 2 18" titanium rods in her back though.

Threads like this remind me of all the reasons I'm proud to live Disney-free.

This is all covered in my original post. Reading comprehension is tough, I know.

biggest grip is the double strollers.

Too many people to be trying to push 4ft wide strollers.

I was at Disney in February, but we stayed at 5he Boardwalk. It doesn’t matter where you stay, they’re everywhere. It got so bad, I started driving to the parks.

Exactly. Once we went to Universal, we never wanted to go back to Disney.

I wish fat asses weren't allowed in Disney World.

If you can't walk around the park by yourself due to weight, stay at home

There is an option available to you that you probably haven't considered.

Hate those too. I’m a little more accepting of them since they’re just part and parcel of going to Disney. The ones that make sudden stops and turns are best.

As someone who recently brought two younger kids I'm guilty.

Didn't use a side by side though. Pain in the arse to steer but I'm considerate of my fellow park goers.

I haven’t been to DW since the mid 70’s when it was pretty new, but I don’t ever remember a bunch of fat bodies back then, but then maybe people moving around more and eating less had something to do with it.

Everything a Disney is made big enough for a double stroller to pass through. Everyone had scooter because they are so available, Disney and the third parties make a ton of money off them so they are easily available.

Was at Disney last week. The scooters either drive too slow and block the walkway or too fast causing the data’s to scream at people to get out of the way.

I like the ones that ride in a group and ride 4 or 5 side by side and do.not.fricking.stop.or.slow.down

They will run over small children and make comments about how they need to pay attention
