It’s ridiculous how many scooters are there now. Went three years ago and it was nothing like it is now. We had one get on the bus ahead of us with their 14 family members boarding ahead of everyone who had been waiting in line.

You are looking at it wrong ...it's Disney new interactive "Wall-e" exhibit and it goes through out the park. They just need to get cupcakes in a cup for $17.50

Just saw an article that all US Disney parks will no longer allow smoking and they are limiting the size of strollers. Some of the comments from outraged smokers were hilarious.

Ive said this on various boards here but last time we took the kids to Disney it seemed like kids as old as 12 were being pushed around in some sort mega-stroller with mag wheels and capable of carrying a family of four. Half the people over 35 were also riding some sort old person rascal. We took the kids when they were young cause kids want to go to Disney but for the most part it’s bascially the same crowd I see at the DMV and wondering off the cruise ships across from my office every day. Lots of overweight rubes.

Good. frick em. For the most part the smoking sections are off in bumfrick but that one right as you're entering Adventure Land irrationally pisses me off every single time.
As for the stroller size. We went in November and these things were everywhere. The local stroller rental places were renting them. I told my brother then that they were going to have to put a stop to this shite. You think people with double wide strollers and the scooter brigade are bad? They have nothing on these assholes.

THIS.
Thank god my girls are now 18 and 21, so our Disney days are done.
The first time in the 00's, we flew in, stayed on site at Wilderness Lodge and relied on Disney transportation. Magic Kingdom access was fine (boat ride), but anywhere else was pretty much a bus ride. Frick that shite. Lard arse-fatties, families with crying kids and strollers (invariably their strollers took up a seat space, making others stand).
After that, we always flew in and rented a car for the whole trip. If you stayed on site, all Disney theme park parking was free. Also made it easier to go visit Universal for a couple of days.

Not anymore. It's like $40 a day now.

I originally read the title as damned Disney World squirters.... I'm disappointed.

Buses were only bad at night after the parks closed when we went, and even then it wasn't too bad. I was often appalled at the men that wouldn't give their seat to older women, or moms holding a sleeping kid though. Or parents that didn't make their teenage kids give up their seats for adults.
But we also slept in most mornings and took our time getting to the parks, so the buses were usually pretty empty in the mornings.

Theme park parking is still free, resort parking is around $20 per day.

This shite would piss me off as well.

I think they have done a good job with dealing with it in the parks, but the busses... it's a huge issue.
A couple of ideas i've had...
1) Have a seperate bus system for those who need to use the scooters and their families.
2) Keep the current bus system, but only allow one companion to skip the line with them.

Theme park parking is still free if you are staying on property, however, now you have to pay a daily parking fee at your resort.

That's what I meant. Sorry for the confusion. And it appears it's under $20 a day.

I got a vasectomy because I didn't want any more kids and I didn't want to get an STD.
