Would you call a trans person by their preferred pronoun?

My first thought is of course I would, I'll be courteous and pretend like you're not a bio man/woman and call you the opposite.
But when I start to think about it, it's capitulation to something much bigger, an attack on science, free speech and reality.
So no, I don't think I would

I always said I wouldn't until I ran into a student at my school that has preferred pronouns. I'm fine with telling an adult to go frick zheself but I can't say it to a kid who is obviously mentally deranged due to poor parenting at home. So I used his preferred pronouns.

I feel pity for trans people, they were spanked when they were kids

I prefer the adjective confused.

It depends on if I can tell or not.

I never do.
I deal with this almost daily with students and I always avoid pronouns

considering I don't use 3rd person when talking directly to someone, I guess Mr., Ms. and Mrs. would be the only ones I might use. I decided a long time ago I would just omit those if I met a weirdo, considering those are terms of respect. Instead of Ms. Smith, I would just say Smith. Everyone wins.

Depends the situation. If they aren’t acting out like Mr. Ma’am, i probably wouldn’t cause trouble.
If they are being left wing nut job, I’m going to call them the wrong (sexually correct) pronoun just to piss them off

If you were born with a dick, you are and always will be a guy.

I suppose I’d try, but if he/she/it got pissed and threw a hissy fit because I got it wrong I’d lose all respect, and probably deliberately get it wrong from that point on...

I just pray for them. They need our prayers. Jesus will heal their tormented hell bound souls.

I do because it’s polite. The only thing I ask in return is If I slip up and say the wrong the I don’t be crucified for it. I’d say that’s a fair deal.
