i think wade is probably guilty. but i don't care either. louisiana and it's officials are corrupt to the core in every way. but this is the one way that it just won't fly with the public? college basketball is where we decide that louisiana is better than this? we're not. im all for embracing our slimy heritage and playing the game. fire will wade to save face? frick that. i want lsu to try to get away with it.

and you'd be correct. i just don't think a lot of people care. i am perfectly fine with wanting lsu to get away with this and also wanting everyone else to get caught.

F the NCAA. I would not be for cheating in football and basketball except every team we have played this year has broken the rules. EVERY ONE. Talk to former players. They will tell you straight up about money being handed out, even after the player is signed. The money never stops.
I am not for cheating but the NCAA has effectively said that it is OK to cheat... unless we decide we don't want YOU to cheat or if it can't be swept under the rug.
So F'it I would be fine with never playing another NCAA tournament game and just announcing we pay our player like everyone else and even put ads in the paper for offensive line positions.

Calipari is a two time getting caught cheater. Dickie V loves him. No doubt he is cheating at Kentucky. Kentucky basketball and Alabama football already have the booster network for,cheating so thatnthe head coach does not have to,get involved Why on earth Wade let himself get n the phone with these people is beyond me. Yeah it all depends on the BOS, but I do think if there’s enough of a public debacle it will force them to make changes. Rallies and constant public pressure will force the media to pressure LSU to get rid of Alleva and King, and all indications are the BOS would cave to it.
Mob mentality worked for UT and it worked for Michigan.

For the last time, who cares? If they get us they get us. The worst they can do is hit us with sanctions that send us right back to where we were before Wade. Let's at least have this season.
We look like we suck at baseball, football is still a question mark. We might be in for a rough few years LSU fans wise, so let's enjoy this march run. At least that's a lot of people's thinking.

There is a difference.
The "difference" is that none of those "classmates" went from being a C- student to an A student in short order or had their voice recorded on an FBI wiretap like the kid sitting in the back of the class did.

Honestly, you seem genuinely surprised by the way it works in college basketball. If you were the coach, how would you handle dealing with the 4 and 5 stars? There are only 2 choices. Play the game how it is played or be “above it” and sign the kids others don’t want. Which one do you choose?
