So this is a complete debacle, and although I hate Alleva as much as the next guy, he was right to suspend Wade.
Id love to see input from other rational adults on this board, not the blind homers.

There is no money trail, Nike paid him. We wear their merch on tv in exchange. Really would be difficult for NCAA to prove anything unless the FBI convicts him or he outright incriminates himself on the other wiretap recording.

This is what I’m so confused about. If we suspend them now, the penalties will be the same, the wins will be vacated, and we won’t win anything in the post season once we get there.

I love how people are acting like paying kids to play basketball is some crisis of virtue on par with human trafficking. Kids get new chargers at bama but WW is a bad guy with a “reputation”. Dickie V can EAD. The NCAA can EAD. The SEC can EAD. Joe Alleva can EAD. If he broke the rules he broke the rules and will suffer the consequences of being caught but the demonizing is theatrical
