and honestly, I think it's truly because the owners know he can't handle the big league. Guess College Football is stuck with the National Championship Runner Up for another year.

That's right. Texas didn't really want him either

Not after Monday's nights arse-whipping. He's more driven than ever now.

L8U will be 18U before he's done.

Sorry for your butt-hurt.

Nick Saban has made a damned strong case for GOAT.

NFL teams would 100% bring him back to the league. He can't handle the big league because of one loss in the NC game? In the NFL, the universally acknowledged best in business is Belichick, who's lost the Superbowl... three times.

Saban has also spanked LSU's arse 8 straight times.

So...

If Saban ever indicated he would be interested in coaching in the NFL again, offers would come pouring in.

Don't be stupid.

All he would have to say is "I'm willing to listen" and at least a dozen NFL teams would have execs on the ground in Tuscaloosa or at his lake house.

Reality is, he's closer to retirement than trying the NFL again.

Yeah looks like we are stuck with Saban a while yet and CFB is also stuck with Saban vs Dabo most years. Enjoy.

He doesn’t hold the keys to the castle in the NFL. He’s not at the storied program. He can’t handpick his roster. The star players make money than he does. An angry dago midget screaming at millionaires isnt and will never be a formula for success at the next level.

Of course he isn't going to the NFL. The NFL tries to make the competition fair. Right now he has the single greatest competitive advantage of any coach in any sport. Why would he voluntarily give that up?
