I already told this on the anchored spinoff...,

My babysitter's BF and then later in life a drug dealer (mostly acid) to my friends, in GA.

One day he was found with a bullet in the back of his head on the side of a Florida hwy.

You can google his case, Gary Gillette

Robbing a store shouldnt be a death penalty unless the private citizen being robbed defends himself. If someone at the waffle house had shot him on the spot, thats a different situation.

When a swat team breaks into your house without identifying themselves while you are sleeping and you jump out of bed startled and they riddle you with gunfire, that's murder in my opinion.

Stake him out, wait for him to get out of bed and tries to go somewhere, ambush him. And if he resists, fine, shoot.

Busting in on a sleeping person and killing him is not appropriate. Its not like he was holding hostages. Its not like he was in al quaeda. He got $400 from a waffle house register,

Man I know a few people just from high school.

When I was working my very first job, we had a student worker who I came pretty cool with, who got jumped one evening by this guy he had been "beefin" with. He went inside, got his gun, went back outside and shot and killed him. I knew of the guy he shot, but we found a gun permit in his desk.

He had come to work earlier that week with bandages on his hands and face. He told us he was riding a dirt bike and fell off. Found out after the fact that he had been jumped then. It happened 2 or 3 times before he decided to get a gun. Once he got a gun.. The next time they jumped him was the last. He is now in Angola.

That dude let me borrow his Carter ll CD so I could burn it and it happened before I could ever give it back to him.. I think I still have his CD.

Was friends with a guy who worked for Coke. He got a call to service a vending machine at a college, and when he arrived, a fired ex employee was hiding behind it, reached out with a gun and fired a couple in his chest, dead instantly.

Another good friend of mine who used to work with him had to stay at my house with his family for a few weeks until the guy was caught because he apparently had beef with a lot of people who had worked there.

Damn! Obviously anytime someone gets murdered its not good, but when it is people, who are not involved in anything that could put them at risk to be murdered, has a family.. Just living their life and someone kills them because that person is angry at the world.. That sucks.

Two. Very strange situation. Father is at work managing a grocery store. Wife and son and daughter are at home. Wife and daughter (about 2nd grade) shot and killed. Boy (in 6th grade with me) was unharmed. Gunman tells boy to get on the bus and go to school and to not tell anyone. About 3rd period guys tells the teacher. Still unsolved. Everyone thought the boy did it or the father hired a hitman.

Surreal and sobering experience.

"Best" part was the local paper ran a picture with the story of his widow frantic and crying at the crime scene being held back by police. Upset a lot of people.

story of the conviction
