I don't think they should sit out. It feels almost pussified to a degree and I also think it should mean something to them to play for their team one last time.

However, I say that from my keyboard and without being the one with literally millions of dollars on the line. So as much as I think they should play and don't like when they don't play, I get it. And I can even admit that I can sit here and say that if I were in their position I'd play, but that if I truly was in their position, I'm not sure what I would do.

Are you really this stupid?

Majority of them have signed with an agent, and they will be getting top notch training with former NFL people leading up to the draft.

LSU football made millions of dollars in profit last year. The reason the did were kids like Greedy Williams. Look, I wish Greedy was playing, but I can’t fault the kid for what he’s doing. But to sit here and pretend that all Greedy did was take from LSU and LSU got nothing back is disingenuous.

If I had $10-15 million coming my way some keyboard warrior who likely didn't even attend the university I played for can call me whatever he wants.

Unless you're in the playoff it means precisely nothing, except more money in the schools, conferences, and networks pockets of course.

The first thing guys like Odell and Fournette did when they got paid was things for their hometowns and universities.

I have yet to see one reasonable take on why it's some indictment on them if they don't play. If you want to play, go for it. If you don't, that's great too.

You aren't thinking long term. This is the highest profile game they will play in that all scouts are watching.

NEGATIVE. If I was a sure 1st rounder there is no way I would risk millions to play in a meaningless bowl game. Sorry, but that trophy ain't worth shite !

I'm sure if a player blows his knee and loses millions, he'll be relieved to know it doesn't happen very often.

It isn't my financial future on the line, and you just have to be the one guy with bad luck to lose millions.

shite, don't even make it the NFL and draft.

If I tell you in 3 months I'll give you $10mil. But some time before that, there's going to be some really, really dangerous thing that you can participate in. But if you get hurt in said dangerous thing, you may not get most of that $10mil.

You're probably going to say "nah, no thanks" to that dangerous thing.

Agreed, and all the idiots that don't (Like those trying to make Greedy's decision seem ok) have never played any sports worth a damn and lack any kind of moral compass!

Devin White is the man and was before any of this!!

Add some more risk torch boy!

-Losing respect of your teammates, coaches, etc.
-Show's your lack of character to all (Including the NFL).
-Look like a weak arse you know what.
-Fan's think you're a quitter.
-No loyalty.

*Sure, you owe them nothing and shouldn't care what others think, but what do you think about yourself you quitter.

Agreed dad

Most of these people are poor too

More to life than a big a paycheck

Memories over millions

You'll learn as soon as you have money yourself that it doesn't make you happier
