UH lost Saturday bc of their shitty run D. And not their finest offensive performance with some turnovers. But I'd still take this guy in a heartbeat.

All of this Petrino talk is nauseating. Give me Briles.

We start scoring like that and our defense will suffer also

I'm sure he'd adjust his offense somewhat taking into account he'd actually have a legit D.

He wouldn’t have to run the offense at a breakneck speed like he does at Houston. It just needs to be competent.

Prepare for the "who did they play?" and "how tough is their schedule?" apologists.

And in fact, none of them will say that Kendall Briles would produce worse or equal results with this current team.

Or maybe Houston’s defense sucks.

But if your wondering Clemson is 101st in TOP and 2nd in Total Defense.

Probably helps more to just be good on defense.

These arguments are fair, but they kind of lose their punch after we just stank it up against one of the worst teams in the SEC.

it amazes me how some of you are afraid to score a lot of points because the defense can't handle it. Our TOP isn't great this year and our D is gassed almost every fricking game yet somehow we are 8-2 even with the D out on the field more than it should be. Why not at least give them some breathing room and put up points for the short amount of time we are on offense??

A good OC can slow the game down when needed. Briles won't be asking burrow to throw 50 yard bombs if we're up 30 pts in the 4th I promise you that.

i love that we start saying shite like this with no real effort to prove it.

so let's see the proof in this line of thinking.

The arguments have been as follows:

Last week: "It doesn't matter what OC you bring in here, our offense will suck."

Now they've gone to: "We can't score that many points. It's bad for the defense."

First of all, it's never a good thing to want to score LESS points.

Second, if our offense will suck with a new OC, we don't have to worry about scoring a lot of points, right?

Clown nonsense. This is insane.

yall are all fricking idiots...you want a big 12 offense and don't think it will hurt our defense. Prolific offenses almost never have great defenses
