I know you’re thinking, who cares? I may have my facts wrong, but it seems Florida is going to throw the kitchen sink at us. They’ve got Tebow hyping up the team pregame. They’re honoring the 2008 championship team at half time. The game is a sell out, the first since 2016. They have a brand new coach who has their hopes the highest it’s been years.

I know we know who we are. They are better than they were last year. We’re even better. I think they’ve challenged the wrong person on our team. He’s going to make them pay. We’re coming back 6-0.

I went through this same crap in my mind with Ole Miss thinking it was a trap game. Looking at UF's recent output versus a team with a pulse has not been good. The lost to UK at home but UK is a good defensive team. The beat a crappy UTenn team in Kville and a crappy MSU team in Starkvegas. In two of those games the may have mustered 20pts total (UK and MSU).

On paper they are crap but I am like many. It just feels like they will play better than they have and at home they will always have a chance to win...

Doubt it will be a runaway regardless of who gets the W, but I fully expect that the Tigers come home 6-0. Expect a close game, with a Felipe meltdown at some point. Burrow should continue to improve with the O-line the healthiest it has been this year. Amanda will dial up the blitz packages & contain the QB. Cole should get three FG & solid punting & returns give special teams a big edge.
Hell, after that discourse, do I even need to watch the game?

It's not unreasonable to be apprehensive about this game. It's the perfect trap game. We're riding high and maybe looking ahead. The Gators have a chip on their shoulder. The crowd will be hyped, etc.
Do we really trust this offense yet? Sure, the Ole Miss performance was great but that was a really bad Rebel defense.
There are lots of reasons to for some level of concern.
In the end, we're better than the Gators so if we play well and don't give them any gifts we should win.

Talent wise there is no way they stack up with LSU. Experience wise they also lag. The only way you guys lose is if you put the ball on the ground multiple times or O forgets how to coach. It shouldn’t even be close.

The FLA crowd will be loud and proud... A great day for them.. Kinda funny they do THIS for the LSU game... However.... RUN, RUN,RUN............... The FLA D is good but if UK could run on them like they did we should shred them... IF that's the way O wants to play it.............

Ha, Tebow means nothing to these kids! He won’t make quite the impact you think he will.

I think they are going to be too hyped and it will work against them. Focus is what wins--that's what Bama does best because of the midget. They don't have a good run DL and the LB's are average. QB has a decent arm ok mobility but is slow to react and has accuracy issues at times.
Our QB has the same or better qualities without the accuracy issues, but his reads and reaction time are far better.

On defense we are just better---how much who knows but we are better. OL play will decide how much we win by--but I don't see us losing this one.

Hype and emotion will only get you so far, it doesn’t last 60 minutes. Eventually it’ll come down to just lining up and playing football. That’s where we have a big advantage this season IMO.

Franks is the type of person who doesn't get hyped and if he does he might go outside of himself so I hope they hype that boy up.

LSU will want to make a statement in this game. Aranda is going to mix up his looks like they haven't seen yet. He's going to put so much pressure on Franks that he will have to dump it off early to avoid a sack. I think our pass rush improved greatly this week too. Lots of stunting and delayed blitzing from all levels of the defense.

Play close to the LOS and make Franks beat us. Stop the run and make them have to pass the ball on 3rd and long. Bring more people then they've seen all year. I think LSU will win the TO battle and come away with a 10 plus margin victory.

I am enjoying this team already overcoming expectations. I am also enjoying how sports writers keep saying we will lose.

If we lose, I will be a little down but this is still a great resurgence of LSU ball and we are on the edge of greatness.

To be the best we must beat the best. The Auburn experience will help and Burrow is helping the shortcomings of the Oline. In short, I'm fricking stoked about today.
