This is not what the waiting rooms look like where I live.

Everyone looks normal, but I live in Texas and that may explain it.

Agreed. Most problems in society can be traced back to this root cause

Depends on where you live. I go to the doctor in the suburbs.

Can confirm. My wife had to go see a pediatric cardiologist at Texas Children's in Houston and the waiting room was definitely an experience to say the least.

ETA: She has a congenital heart condition that requires her to see a pediatric cardiologist even though she is almost 30

what is wrong with grandparents helping take a child to the doctor while parents are at work?

Congrats on being rich (I’m not sure you are but this seems to be what you’re trying hard for).

Sounds like you go to the poor people doctor. Or live in the ghetto.

In a highly specialized field like Pediatric Cardiology, there's usually limited options and they're typically tied with the Children's Hospital which accepts medicaid.

No, I just avoid the crappy places. I had my fill living in Louisiana. Had to go to a sleep doctor that was in a poor hospital in Shreveport. It was quite a waiting room experience.

Yeah I get that, but the children’s hospital in Plano is going to be a bit different than in Dallas.

Common sense is a gift from above; if only people knew how to use it.

Nothing, but in the context of the OP's message, don't play dumb. Not every grandparent is raising the children but when it's that many, something is fishy.

There is a problem with fatherless and single parent families in this country, just own up to it and admit democrats screwed the pooch in the 60s- present.

A collection of fat people waiting to be diagnosed with sleep apnea? (I'm not necessarily excluding you from the group )

So, assumptions based on preconceived notions?

How many was it? OP only referenced a few.
