Sorry for your experience- but this is not how the majority of kids without a father around come to be that.

Many people are simply irresponsible goons, and have no intention of ever changing that.

When the Dr accepts Medicaid that's what you get.

This is not what the waiting rooms look like where I live.

Everyone looks normal, but I live in Texas and that may explain it
There aren't that many pediatric cardiologists therefore everyone gets referred to them. It will look like that in Texas too.

Do you have any clue what it is like not to spend a holiday with your kids because its mandatory for them to see their father? I CRIED FOR THE ENTIRE DAY.

What about your kids' father who rarely gets to see them because you have them practically all the time? You don't think he's sad for not being able to see his kids as much as he did during your marriage?

Dad's love their children too.

This single-mom martyrdom thing has to die. Single-mom's are indicative of a society without a moral compass. We need to bring back the scarlet letter, kinder and gentler than a Muslim's stone.

Why is it always “well what about ____?”

It sucks for both. Only one of them is posting in this thread so what do you expect, to hear his point of view?

Pick up a history book and read about the Great Society and New Deal.

Modern American welfare and entitlement programs all stem from this.

This.

People can blame problems on other races, genders, religions, etc. But the real problem in our country is about how we've lost the importance of family and become so distracted that we only care about ourselves instead of our loved ones.

I went to a top orthopedic surgeon a few months ago for a consult. His waiting room was filled with gravy knees and spent hips. OP described just about 80% of those patients in the waiting room with me. The two very large gals in front of me were there compliments of our tax dollars, for a fact.

You don’t have to be rich to respect yourself and those around you.
