People make decisions and those decisions have consequences. Does it make you a bad person? No. Does it mean that wrong decisions will make your life more difficult? Yes.

It’s the glorification of single mother hood that’s also a problem. It’s not the way it’s intended to work and all studies back this up. The fact we can’t even have this conversation on a national scale is disheartening.

It’s a real problem with a very real solution but no one can address it without being labeled.

Probably a really conservative take like requiring people to be married to have kids or something.

Hopefully he just says removing incentives to pump out kids.

That's great. But you're never too far from the encroaching hellholes.

That’s anywhere. Your point is?

And I’d take the “hellholes” here over shite areas of most other cities, especially BR/NOLA. The little Hispanic pockets around the city are pretty harmless, just not as fancy as other areas.

So you don’t believe all the studies that children in a married two parents household have a much higher success rate than those from single homes? Why are you a science denier?

A father and mother at home raising their family together? This is common sense that’s backed up with data. It’s not an opinion, it’s fact.

When did I say that? Those are facts, and they are in agreement with my statement about single parents having it harder. It’s easier with 2 parents and far more beneficial to the child’s future.

My comment was about the solution. People have brought up different government solutions to this issue and most have been far from conservative like this board claims.

Its not the governments problem to solve, theyre not capable. It’s the people’s problem.

The government is just made of people. Our society has to return to the idea of personal responsibility.

That’s not the solution though. The solution would be how to ensure more children are born to 2 parents instead of a single mom and an absentee baby daddy.

I'm not taking arguing against that. I guess I thought you were going to propose an actual viable solution. Like some sort of reasonable legislation or initiative that would increase loving, responsible, two-parent homes and decrease absentee-ism and poverty among parents.

The fact you can’t see the people are the solution is mind boggling. The government isn’t going to change it, our culture has to change it

I think we are looking for the simple... How? this might reasonably be accomplished. Not the theoretical end game.

Okay so how? You haven’t presented a solution. You’ve stated the end goal and who needs to get there. Nothing about how.

A trash culture results in a trash society. Just a cursory observation of our prevailing entertainment culture and the social values it promotes should have prepared everybody for a general regression in our societal condition.

I know you are telling the truth because it is true.

An epidemic worse than diabetes. The tattoos though are pukeworthy. Their breath is sinful; their hygiene as nasty as a public urinal.

Ive attempted the dating scene again and anyone single over 25 (im 36) has a child. All of them. And all of them say it was the daddys fault and all of their tattoos tell me differently.

Note to young men, PULL OUT MOTHER frickERS. It isnt hard to do.
