I think we should stay on board and be happy. I mean a hard fought game to the end that stays within 7 points with a title contending team is all you can realistically expect as a fan. A win no matter how ugly should garner heavy praise, however a blowout or non competitive game of 2 scores or more and I am over O. We should be competitive in every game we play, and if he can't at least deliver that, much less a national championship, I want him gone. So I personally until that time am in just a relax /wait and see mindset with this team and coach.

We used to be a title contender. Why settle for what we have now?

Lowering the bar is now a hallmark of this program.

Not long ago, this was the bar that represented our expectations:

You're right. frick winning the SEC let's just make sure LSU doesn't get blown out anymore. That's good enough now.

Based on all the posts about Jimbo, Mond, and aggy, it seems most would be happy with 500 yards of passing and a 2 point loss.

We were competitive with Auburn on the road in 2016. How did that work out for the fans and coaching staff?

Honestly, it’s amazing to me how much the goal post have widen and gotten closer since that point in time.
