Did they really forget to build the new access road to the new terminal? How is that possible?

you really think they forgot?

or is it just that they don't need an access road for an airport that isn't open yet?

well...

They went ahead with building it without having a real plan for the access road. That's actually true. And when it opens the main access road won't be completed so it'll apparently be a bit of a pain in the arse to get to.

i get that, but i think that's just part of building a new airport almost directly adjacent to the current one. it's not like the contractor just woke up one day and realized that there's no road there.

IIRC, they said they were going to build a new access road like 5 years after the terminal construction was completed.

You answered your own question, looks like they didn't forget. May not have a good plan, but didn't forget.

I agree with you it wasn't "forgotten," but this was built in reverse just so stupid arse fricking Bitch could have his face all over it. The access road should have been done first.

They didn't forget it, they just haven't decided on how they are going to build it yet.

The Loyola exit is going to be a complete clusterfrick

Typical Louisiana infrastructure planning

But Mitch and his cronnies are making millions on the new terminal construction and thats all that matters.

They did some construction on the south side of Loyola. I think they widened it. My boat was in storage down there and they been working on it.

Let me reword that for you junior.
Why didn't they think more about the access road when initially planning the project? I think it will be a big problem but who knows.

They are working on your boat? I don't consider that a good use of my tax dollars.

Right. But the OP is a retard. The new access road will be spensive and nice.
