They say elections have consequences, and if this is so, we should all be concerned over the recent primary along the coast of South Carolina. I know it well. I lost. I’ve been involved in politics for a long time in my state and have run and won in tough races. This one was like no other. The operative question was not about conservative policies that are normally the lifeblood of a Republican primary, but rather who on the ballot would more loyally support the president.

What this a-hole fails to grasp is that the people elected Donald J Trump. If he wants to act like a bitch and not support his agenda, gtfo. And basically that’s what the voters told him.

Maybe, just maybe, it’s about supporting the president’s policies, Mark. You know, because they want those policies and want a representative who represents their wants & needs.

This guy is WAY smarter than Democrats. He'll be okay. He's learning fast.

“More loyally support the president.” Like that is a bad thing when the voters in South Carolina helped elect Trump. These guys like Sanford are really misguided, foolish and completely out of touch if they think they can have a uniparty R behind their name and continue to trash Trump. Won’t work.

So? Trump is the president. He single-handedly brought your losing party back. All you did was sit around and bash him constantly. Is it any wonder voters had enough?

shite, Sanford...might as well get a cast on your wrist for an excuse press conference.

He ain't got that anymore. He's got an L instead!

No doubt. Trump keep over-delivering, establishment cucks look more worthless by the week. I hope GEOTUS is vocal in as many races as he can. Separate the establishment scum from patriots ready to work with the president.
Trump is going to tidal wave these fricks if they keep poking at him

You mean Mark Sanford wrote a piece showing how he still does not understand why he lost his primary.
I can't think of anything more stupid than a politician insulting his voters. That is what killed Romney and Hillary.

We are going to have a lot of blame game articles from politicians who lost because of Trump.
He sounds just like Hillary

Even Sanford's ideological allies don't like him. He has always rubbed everyone around him the wrong way. It's a shame too, because from a policy standpoint he's closer to Ron Paul than anyone else. It's unfortunate that he's a jerk who no one likes.

Will South Carolina voters wake up and finally oust Miss Graham?

You mean the president those same people elected and have ferociously stood behind while you carped and twiddled your thumbs?
Can't imagine why you didn't win
