Anyone else going to check out this Kevin Costner-starring show from director Taylor Sheridan, who wrote Sicario and Hell or High Water?

yes .... though the early reviews are tepid (at least on RT)
i'm sure it will be decent with that group

The reviews are very mediocre, but I'll give it a shot.

Paramount tried an end-run with the programming of this and listed it as Waco - Yellowstone on the TV grid. My DVR was set to record Waco, so it automatically set itself to record Yellowstone. Sneaky frickers.

It's 41 on Eatel. No clue what it used to be. Just saw it yesterday when trying to find out how to watch this.

I think it used to be Spike TV.

Which is really funny, because wasn't there a Paramount network around a while back (UPN) that got merged with WB to form the current CW network?

From the extended trailers I've seen while watching "Indiana Jones" movies on there, it appears to be some sort of modern land war thing out west. Someone moving in on land Costner's family owns/uses. Perhaps some sort of crime family kind of deal, too. Ranching family trying to hold on to their power and using their muscle to do so.

Is this supposed to be another Longmire (not that Longmire wasn't a good show)?

It seems to me that it's nothing more than "Dallas" but with cattle instead of oil.

241 on DISH.

It's set to record on my DVR ... skipping commercials is the only way to go.

I hear the scenery is top notch. I’d watch it just for the clips of the park

Longmire is a cop show. This isn't that.
