Surely he's not stupid enough to think he can beat Trump in the primary. I just hope he doesn't pull a Ross Perot and run as an independent, and thus intentionally give the presidency to the democrats. Although I wouldn't put anything past the establishment Republicans.

I don't think there's any chance of this happening. Faced with Ryan, some idiot from the DNC, or Trump, no one in the middle or on the right will take Ryan. If Sessions was worth a shite, he'd spring a corruption investigation on Ryan for his role in the Awan scandal.

Paul Ryan is the single biggest sellout this country has seen in a long time.
I can’t believe I used to like the guy. Was impressed with him after the Romney campaign - thought he was smart and charismatic enough to be a good POTUS
