I would crawl over Paul Ryan, and knee him in the nuts as I went by, to vote for you.

Soon as Ryan steps down he’ll be just like Boehner and never be heard from again

Hell Ryan is unpopular even in his own hometown

He’s really a democrat in republican camo

These scum bags would struggle to beat Trump on on one . If there is multiple deep state guys running against Trump in the primary then they are really wasting time and money . Trump will have more supporters in 2020 then he did in 2016.

I honestly cant find any meaningful legislation that he put together and passed throughout his entire career in DC.

So many smart people in DC, think they know what the American people want, what they are slowly learning, one hard season at a time, is that we want what Trump has to offer. Ryan will learn this as well...

Incorrect.

The vast majority of politicians in DC do NOT think they know what Americans want, they don't even give a shite what Americans want. Not at all.

If Paul Ryan was actually concerned with the opinions of the voters, there would have already been a full House vote on immigration issues in general, and specifically on the wall, because overwhelmingly Americans want this issue resolved.

He won't run against Trump, unless its as a Democrat. In 2024 If he runs as a Rep. and wins, Dems should run Booker/Castro against him. They will woodshed Ryan into oblivion.

It is truly amazing that these GOPe never-Trumpers think that they have a shot at taking the party back over in 2020. I understand what Ryan is doing from a political calculation standpoint. He is betting on the blue wave and removing himself from the fray, hoping that the last 2 years of Trump are ineffectual or mired in impeachment hearings. Then, he can swoop in as the unblemished GOP hope.

Again, no self awareness, as any idiot should be able to see that there is little Trump can do that will lose him his base, and he has spent the last year and a half shoring up the independent vote. Let him run in 2020 and finish of the destruction of his career.

Pushing as “Paul” rather than “Ryan” may actually get him a little more support from people blinding thinking that Rand or Ron is running.

Anyone that is woke enough to vote for Rand or Ron wouldn't be fooled that easily

Seems unlikely unless Trump is impeached and removed from office

I don't even see how that would work. He didn't stand up to trump, he pretty much caved on everything. So he wouldn't get the never trump vote. And since he didn't cock gobble trump during the election, the trumpers wouldn't vote for him either.

he has no future in elected office.

IF this is really Ryan's plan, does he have any idea how badly he'll be crushed? I thought he was supposed to be an intelligent guy.

This - it'll be the end of his political career by suicide.
