He did call his dad a fgt... which is probably correct. You notice how dad didn't get defensive about him calling the mom any variety of names... only got upset when he was called a fgt.

Might not have the money, but teenagers at my school that acted out and we're not controllable, got sent to military school. where those kids don't get so see their family and your arse gets whooped or punished with physical activity if you step out of line.

My friend went to one, came back a chissled, drug free, going to college man.

Yep, if it's affordable, that's probably the best option.

Rivers? Just let him start hanging out with Johnny Depp and this problem will sort itself out.

Absolutely awful.

They seem to have decent money based off that house. I can't judge how someone should raise their kid, it's not fair.. it's not as easy as just do this or do that when you are in the position.. and often times those things don't work.. they have tried them..

One thing I noticed though was he has all these video games, they should remove all that stuff until he goes to school and acts right. I guess they worry he will just leave home at that point and cause further trouble out than just staying at home pouting?

That's actually not a bad idea.

Was just thinking this. Guarantee this kid would shite his pants if they put him in one of those scared straight scenarios in a prison.

The parents are completely at fault. First of all, the daddy threatened him and he called the dad's bluff. He knew his dad wasn't going to do anything. Im sure he has a smart phone.. That his parents pay for. Who pays for the video games?

If I would have ever tried to take something out of my mom's hands she would have beat the shite out of me and I am not at all exaggerating.

My brother was 6' as a teenager, a little bit taller than my dad. My dad also gave him his old truck and paid the insurance for it while he was in high school. If my brother would have ever thought about talking like that to my mom, he would no longer have anything to drive and my dad would have probably grabbed him by the throat and told him if he ever thought about saying anything like that again, he wouldn't be allowed to come back in the house.

But knowing what we could say to our parents was established at a young age. Those parents probably allowed the kid to get away with things that, when he got older, continued to be a "norm".

i bet he kicks arse at Fortnite. 27 straight days missed of school just sitting around playing video games.

But yea, the next time he left the house and came back, everything but his bed would be cleared out from that room. If he wanted to fight, we'd fight lol.

And if I'm the Dad, every single time he called the Mom a bitch, we're fist fighting.

Again, not saying that's right or I wouldn't be put in jail or whatever, but if things got to THAT point, that is what would happen.

At least this dude can speak properly. Catch me outside became a gangsta rapper...I think that's what that is, maybe it's something else. This dude will get his arse kicked once or twice and probably be pretty normal eventually.

This got me thinking, as I do not have kids, whats the proper course of action here? Just my thoughts: smash his guitar, and gaming system. smash his phone. Record every hostile interaction. Cut off all money for him. No more clothes, no spending money. you can eat whats in the house. you sleep on the floor until you can act right.

No kids yet either but this sounds like the first place I'd start too unless youre ready and willing to turn the kid away from your family forever by doing something like beating the shite out of him or leaving him in the hood as some of the smart arse comments mention

Honestly if you do either of those you cant put it past this little fricker to take deadly revenge against his parents and probably shoot them dead the first time he ever got his hands on a gun.

Sounds like parents fricked up during his formative years never disciplining him or controlling his time spent playing games and isolating himself in his room.

But if doing all that stuff you mentioned in your post does nothing, then military school at that point in his life is probably the only option left to turn around their life at 15 yo. Dont even think juve would help him at that age since the only interactions with other people would be other little shits

The Mom said, "If I take his phone, he grabs me by the wrist and twists it like he's trying to break my arm".

How does this little shithead have service on his cell phone, anyway? The little douchebag doesn't work...cut off his amenities to give him a glimpse at what his world will be like when he is on his own. Sell those freaking guitars he is playing with...get rid of any electronic device he plays with. Make the little M-Fer earn SOMETHING.

zero consequence household since birth and these parent wonder why their teen is out of control...

My kids learned at an early age that Dad is firm but fair. F up if you choose but you will atone

Once they started to get as big as me I reinforced the notion that they may become taller than Dad but they will never be BIGGER than Dad.
