Me, too. JJ9 last LSU QB to beat Bama.

He also beat Bama two years in a row. Imagine Brennan doing that; he'd get a statue.

damn, he does look very fluid and natural.

And this is before Sullivan got a hold of him too, correct?

How can Jefferson be a starting WR? The Rant has provided arguments ad nauseum that 3 star players are not capable of contributing at LSU. The Rant experts are clearly in a better position than LSU coaches to evaluate players.

based on what? some spring practices?

lets see how the summer and fall shake out, chief.

Well they were beat out last season by a 3-star WR that was rated as the 59th WR and another 3-star that was 898th rated player in the nation and the 74th best WR in their class. So there is that.

Now they have to deal with a former Biletnikoff award candidate, two 5-star and a 4-star receiver that were signed in the last class.

its April.

unless you have a crystal ball, you don't know what will happen between now and labor day weekend.

the very fact that you would even pretend like you do, or that last years snap count has any bearing on a new offensive coordinator and jerry sullivan shows how little you actually do know.

why are you only willing to give O credit for firing the guy he hired? is it that hard for you to admit any sort of fault on the part of O?

The link I posted in the OP says Giles, Jefferson and I believe Marshall are the starting wide receivers. That information is coming from the players themselves. I also saw where one of the receivers you are arguing about was working with the walk-on WR's at Tuesday's practice.

So, I may know little, but I apparently know a lot more about the LSU WR's than you do.

I give him credit all the time for making the hire. I think that at the time is was a very good hire.

You stated it would be a complete failure on the coaches if these guys did not see the field.

I just pointed out why that was a STUPID thing to say. That is all. I have no problem with the WR's themselves, just dumb comments.

Imo it was a terrible hire...not because Canada is a bad OC, but because what Canada likes to do does not fit O’s philosophy. O hired Canada for the wrong reasons...mainly because he was the hottest name. It was short sighted; but that’s O

you may know more about LSUs WRs, but you apparently still don't know what month it is, and what month LSU plays its first football game.

Anthony Jennings was the starter for the football team in April 2015.

If nothing else it gives me some comfort that they are planning to play who has shown that they have the best skills/work ethic, etc, and not who had the most stars coming in. And in reality we probably need some WRs to transfer out to make room for some new recruits in 2019...

Those star ratings coming out of HS mean absolutely nothing imo. Some players turn into stars in college rated as low as a 2 star, I've seen it. Lol But I have been hearing nothing but great things on the Jefferson kid, athletic family. His brothers may have had so so careers at LSU, but that doesn't mean he will too. I look for him and Giles along with Sullivan to be the starting 3 coming out of the gate, and they will be backed up by a shite load of talent. The best in the SEC imo with how deep they are, Chase and T Marshall would start for some SEC teams.

hose 4 receivers. Drake Sullivan Ferguson and Anderson really are busts so far.

Sullivan isn't a bust at all. He got a good bit of pt last season and looked pretty good. Ferguson transferred. Drake and Anderson got passed up by better players. They just aren't going to beat out players like Giles, Jefferson, and Marshall.
