LSU fans of the 50's, 60's, and 70's were second to none. The LSU and Death Valley reputation for intimidation was established by these fans.

They also didn’t have access to every game in high def at home or at their fingertips. They had to go to the stadium or listen on the radio.

re: Coach O seems confident

Predict the record Ree...with all that going for us, sounds like 11–1, 12-0?? Put it out there?? Or are you not as confident as you let on?
Until Ree posts his prediction for the season, I’m gonna assume he doesn’t even believe In O. If he did, he’d put his nuts on the table. I’ll continue to ignore him until then.
O hired the guy (Canada)...if it sucked, it’s on him. So if you’re gonna post links that trash Canada, you have to be ok with criticism of O.

Just a few videos I searched of the Pitt offense revealed the shift heavy style he liked to employ...plus there were numerous red flags from the wake he left at other jobs that he might be difficult to work with. O didn’t do his homework. Period.

Surprised Ree didn’t post this ??

So all the Rantards demanding 10 or more wins are wrong?

Perhaps...and perhaps they’re right to want a new HC at the helm.

Bro, I liken some of your posts to a Kindergartner arguing that Santa Claus is real. You’ve wandered pretty far off the reservation.

Okay first off, define, "been here a while"?

I’m sure you don’t need me to tell you when O got here. But it didn’t take Saban longer than his opening press conference to tell you what he was going to do.

Also, Many of the things that O said he was going to do at his opening presser have not been done. It makes me think he doesn’t have a plan that he believes in.
Boxcar...let’s keep this comparison to Saban going in year 2. I’m interested to see how it turns out.

You see, Saban wasn’t coaching in year 1 for results on the scoreboard. He had a vision to build a stable/dominant program. Every move he made, every sentence he uttered, every hire...was centered around that vision.

O has been here for a while...can you tell me what his vision is?
In this case, I blame Alleva. He hired O.

I give him credit all the time for making the hire. I think that at the time is was a very good hire

Imo it was a terrible hire...not because Canada is a bad OC, but because what Canada likes to do does not fit O’s philosophy. O hired Canada for the wrong reasons...mainly because he was the hottest name. It was short sighted; but that’s O

They were also a pretty good team.

The very minute you try to rationalize an LSU loss to Troy in football is the moment I quit taking you seriously. There are no excuses for it. We got beat—it is inexcusable, PERIOD. The head coach shoulders the blame for embarrassing losses, sorry.

One of the better posts I’ve read on here in quite some time.
You seem really fixated on Herman’s lips and the fact that he kisses dudes...I mean every time you post about him you bring it up. You must want some of that sugar for yourself ????

Show me where I ever said Kenyon said anything about a super bowl ring dumbshit.

I didn’t say you did. You have argued that a SB ring is something that recruits value in coaches. While I think it doesn’t hurt that a coach has one, I don’t think it’s a major factor. I was just giving you the opportunity to prove me wrong. Am I a “dumbshit” because you couldn’t provide anything from a recruit that talked about their admiration for Cregg’s SB ring??

Go outside and play.
So nothing about the SB ring...I figured as much. Unless you’re talking about a well-known SB champion, like Brady, Montana, Belichick, etc,, I don’t think the ring will resonate with a high school football player. The ring would have to be worn by a player or coach that is widely considered “great” to make a significant impact on most recruits.

All I have to go by is what recruits say. Most recently what 5-star OL Kenyon Green and his father have said.

What did they say, can you link it? I skimmed the article you posted earlier, but didn’t see anything mentioned by either about his SB ring, but I may have missed it.
