You want the guy to accept your perceived mediocrity?

The poster probably realizes you have no clue what you are talking about and can't possibly know what will happen.

Nothing wrong with a fan pulling for LSU.

those 4 receivers. Drake Sullivan Ferguson and Anderson really are busts so far. Great recruiting we have been doing.

Sullivan looked good last year.

Better than Gage when doing anything other than running a Sweep

Really hard to judge those guys though, they were playing in an offense handcuffed by the QB and the meddling head coach.

You don't think it had anything to do with the offensive coordinator who had at least one game where the LSU receivers did NOT have one reception?

The same OC who had WR's outrushing the RB's?

The same OC who had RB's with more receiving yards than the WR's?

Nah, couldn't have had anything to do with that.

I want Jefferson to be a freak and break all LSU rcving records.

quote:

JJ9 last LSU QB to beat Bama

This drives me crazy. I'm glad we won 9-6 erg season but Bama missed 4 out of 6 field goals which was extremely lucky for us. They made a complete fool out of JJ in the rematch.

Pay attention. I said he was the last LSU QB to beat Bama. I didn't say anything about the rematch.

For the record, his ability to run the option that night - even to the short side - allowed us to hold on to the ball just long enough to keep them out of the end zone (plus Eric Reid's INT).

It might be time to switch Davis to the defensive side of the ball like OLB or somewhere he can just use his freak athleticism and get after people.

If the guy had the heart to do that he would be an all SEC WR.

wouldn't be surprised if Anderson and Davis are looking for greener pastures this summer.

if this is the case the coaching staff has failed miserably. You have to get these guys in the games no matter what. They are too much of freaks not to. Remember Lafell OBJ both had “drops” at some point; yet they turned out pretty good.

Rickey was a damn good WR in high school and his initial offer to LSU was to play wr.

He was a top 10 wr in his class but wanted to play DB in college.

There's more to being a good wr than being a freak athlete.

Landry was not fast and didn't jump high but was one of the best WRs to ever play here and just signed a 75M contract.

They have been passed up by Marshall, Giles and Jefferson. If Jamarr Chase passes them up they may see the field if LSU goes to a 5-wide set. Other than that the best WR's will play.

Sullivan is talking to himself. This is why you don’t hire the elderly.

based on what? some spring practices?

lets see how the summer and fall shake out, chief.

if anything, when Anderson and Davis transfer out, it gives you another talking point for the recruiting failures of the previous coach.

Yea but in order to run the option your O-line has to do most of the work, so you cannot give the QB a lot of praise for that.
