You know people on this board bashed this kid when LSU offered him a scholarship. I love the underdog! Just goes to show that this board is
full of so called fans that know nothing about football.

I don’t know if I’m more happy for him, or disappointed in guys like Drake Davis and Dee Anderson.

Drake is just not a natural WR.

He is basically a perfect specimen for a WR, as he has great size and freakish athletic ability, but he can't grasp the technical aspect of the position and the whispers are that he has drop issues.

Might be the best overall athlete on the team though.

This was in the article linked in the depth chart thread.

Junior receiver Drake Davis, who was in a gold jersey, was working with several walk-on receivers during position drills.

Sounds pretty bad.

Catching passes is part of being a great athlete.

I don't think he has problems holding on to the ball in street clothes or in basketball.

Its the physical nature of battling a DB for a ball I think that gets him.

He is a very good soccer player, basketball player, and has basically perfect size, speed, and vertical for a WR. He just hasn't put it all together.

No. But, they will hopefully be dynamic for us this season.

In the case of the latter, that couldn’t have taken much to do. I have yet to see anything all that impressive out of Dee Anderson.

wouldn't be surprised if Anderson and Davis are looking for greener pastures this summer.

This board is also for basketball and baseball bro.

Enjoy blindly accepting mediocrity because it makes you a “real fan.” Why don’t you want the best for something you love?

Stephen Sullivan should get a ton of looks this season. Was in a bunch last season. No clue about Dee Anderson though... dude has all the assets but seems like he's always in trouble.
