Cook, housework, beat the kids when they misbehave, tell her when she's starting to get fat? Or do you sit around like a slug?

is said wifey a stay at home mom? If so, i'd expect most things around the house to be done. If not, then yes you should help around the house.

Only thing she helps with is cleaning the house and that's like pulling teeth. I cook, I clean, I wash dishes, I do yard work, I take the trash out. Overworked and underfricked.

I generally cook, because I want to eat something edible.

Wife is at work. I’m off

I’ve been doing laundry half the morning. Waiting on 2 people to come by for quotes on home renovation.

Well, since it's my house and my kids, I don't really consider it "helping the wifey".

I've picked up the majority of the daily chores (dishes, laundry, dogs, etc) since the baby was born.

Sounds like she found herself a good kitchenbitch.

I do 99% of outside work. I help with dishes. I do any and all necessary maintenance on things. She does the laundry and cleaning. She cooks a little more than me.

We split it up pretty evenly.

She cooks, does laundry, vacuums, sweeps, does most of the dishes, and tidies up. Also does all dog maintenance, bathing, nail clipping, grooming, etc.

I take out the trash, clean the bathroom, and help with unloading the dishwasher and folding clothes when she's busy. I also play with the dogs outside, run them, and feed them.

It's 2018. She works more hours than I do, regardless that i'm the primary income. So I have no problem helping her with some housework if it keeps her from working from dawn til dusk.
