We have kids and both have full time jobs. We share the work. The only thing I do not help with is laundry, that is her job. On the other side I handle outside work.

I do 100% of the cooking (she sucks) and she does all the dishes and kitchen clean up. That’s a fair trade in my book. I like cooking.

I do all the yard work and she cleans the bathrooms. Again, fair trade in my book.

Everything is just kinda randomly split.

cook never cleans in my house. So the nights I cook she cleans and vice versa. However, it seems she uses 10x more pots, pans, cooking utenciles, etc when she cooks than when I do.

I mean we have three kids 5 and under including a newborn. It’s the life we chose and we’re both pretty busy. My wife is a fantastic cook though and does that 95 percent of the time.

I prewash and empty the dishes from the dishwasher, wash and fold my clothes and the towels, handle the bulk of the yard work, take the trash out, kill bugs, occasionally clean up the kitchen counters, etc.

Same. It’s ridiculous. I just usually end up always cooking to avoid having to clean the kitchen for an hour after she makes some basic dish.

I do a lot. We have four kids and she homeschools so she needs my help. I probably do more than I should have to but she is an easy woman to live with and that is more than I deserve. I'm glad to help out. I just put on a good podcasts and go to town.

My wife starting making a good income and decided to hire a maid to come do floors, counters, sinks, bathrooms every two weeks. I highly recommend this to all of you who can afford it. It's money well spent to keep your wife happy.

So there's not nearly as much to do week to week. She still does most of the laundry, I probably do more dishes and all the trash duty and lawn duty, and fixing things, I have all dog and kid responsibilities in the afternoons, she handles it in the mornings. We're probably 50/50 overall and neither of us have to mop, clean toilets, bathtubs, or sinks.

My mom makes me clean my room because she doesn’t want to see my gooey mess tissues anymore. I only do it to get my good boy points and chicken tendies.

Help...that's funny. The person who gives a shite the least has all of the power. I'm still trying to find a detail or condition that my cares more that it's clean / done than I do.
