That was usually my go to site for College Baseball scores, but now you have to pay a subscription just for scores? Frick that. They use to be the best for news, schedules, live scores, etc. Now you must pay for everything. Need a good site for live scores. ESPN is usually behind

D1 Baseball became a real disappointment over the last couple years IMO. $10 just for score access now is asinine.

The old format didn't look like much, but it was easy to navigate between boxscores, schedules, standings, etc.

Do you just go and scroll through or look for certain teams? I honestly just go to the teams twitter account and check. It's not efficient for looking at everyone's scores but I don't really pay much attention to live scoring.

One reason I find it difficult to get as much into college baseball as I am into MLB is access to information and stats. I like to follow things closely without having to watch all the games. I want to get more into college ball but it’s hard to follow. If I want to know a players OPS or last year’s stats on a whim I’d have to go on a wild goose chase through the Internet.

$9.99 per month just for scores? That is one heck of a rip-off.

Wow, that's bullshite. Even before this, the site went to shite. The scoreboard used to be awesome but now it's buggy and jumpy as frick. I appreciated that they went got some big writers and expanded their coverage, but they shite all over what I used to lvoe about them.

Warrennolan.com is where I go for college baseball scores. Good for basketball also.

$10/year is something that sounds cheap but then you realize what's the point of even charging that amount for scoreboard access.

It's not even worth taking the time to put my credit card information on the site.

I've loved D1baseball but this just sounds like bullshite

Anyone have any idea how D1baseball is updating their scores? Are they scraping that data from other sites (automatic process) or are they manually finding the scores and updating them?

This will probably hurt them.

Not going to pay money when I can get the same information free elsewhere.

Also talking down to your user base usually doesn't work out too well.

That’s bullshite. They pretty much have no free content anymore either. I’ll do a month around May for tournament time, but there is not enough content or news to justify a year subscription in the off-season.

for scores that is a bit much but those guys do their homework and they travel to big series throughout the country every weekend

Whoever decided to put their scoreboard behind a paywall is a total fool. I'm going to go out on a limb and assume that the vast majority of their traffic is from SEC fanbases.

So now instead of going to their site where ads can generate them some revenue we will all simply go to the SEC or NCAA websites where we can get all those scores and stats for free.
