They have the boston buttes for .98/lb this week. Dont forget they will cut em up for free either steaks or country style ribs etc. All for less than a buck a lb.

How long will a pack hold in the fridge if I were to buy an extra pack ?

Freeze it, thats what I do. I rack up a few and drop them in the deep freezer.

I'll take "making pulled pork and stocking the freezer" for $1000, Alex.
Between this sale, the country ribs, and the chicken that Calvin's had last week, I'm going to have about 40 pounds of meat in my freezer and less than $50 cost.
Now I need a good deal on a boneless strip loin or a whole ribeye and I've got all the meat I'll need until the 4th of July.

For someone who knows nothing about meat purchasing...is this something I have to go to the counter to get or is it just laying next to the other meats?
Getting tired of eating chicken breast twice per day...everyday.

The twin packs are in the regular meat counter. They big heavy packs. If ya can get it in ya buggy you can push it to the meat counter end there is a door with a bell, ring the bell and a nice butcher will cut it up for ya and repack it.

Npt all Rouses honor thier sales I bet ya they are a recent convert.
Think of a butte roast as a big chunk of wonderful meat. if you slice it into steaks lie slices thats what they sell as pork steaks. Same meat usually 20 cents a lb more.
country style ribs same big chunk of meat sliced thicker then the slices are cut into strips. Same meat always more expensive. Rouses butchers will let ya buy the bog chunk(Boston Butte) and will butcher it for free cut it like ya ask. Steaks, strips chunks etc. This saves ya on average 30-50 cents a lb.a big advantage for us poor ole Baws.
