They say to let them drip overnight but what about during the day when it's cold as it is today?

If you are not going to be using them throughout the day, yes

If you are home and will be using your faucets routinely, it probably isn't needed

Im going to. Turned them on this morning (forgot to last night) and bunch of ice came out. I've literally never seen that before.

If pipes have already frozen, should you still crack the faucets to relieve pressure as ice thaws? Or does it matter at this point?

I left the faucet running last night, but it was on cold. Got up this morning with no hot water pressure. Crawled under the house and had an icicle hanging from the first elbow from the heater

Just a heads up, icicle means it's either leaking or getting water on it from somewhere. Likely has been leaking and you just noticed it because ice.

Little different scenario. Slab house. Turned off the main last night and drained the pipes. This morning main was frozen. Warmed it up with hair dryer. Spigot with the main has water. Rest of house does not. Any help?

Just continue to use toilets, wash clothes, dishes etc and you'll be fine.

Yes. Running water costs almost nothing, but a burst pipe will cost you a ton

Very hard to really drain all the pipes, unless you hook up an air compressor, anyway you should be okay as far as bursting goes, just leave valves open and eventually after will flow

Yes leave open, will help with thawing as well as relive pressure

Any suggestions on speeding up the process? Gas tankless water heater if that helps. Should I leave the outside spigot running for a little while? Just drip it? Don’t matter? Lol. Thanks for the info.
