He has to get one more Natty first. He has to accomplish what nobody else has. He won't stop with a tie.

For a coach who hates the media, the Giants would be the last place to go to.

In other (completely unrelated) news Jimmy Sexton will be pushing for a large pay raise for Saban.

In other words, Saban is getting another raise. End of thread.

If Saban didnt take his "dream job" when offered back in the 90s I highly doubt he will now

The dude is 66 and has more money than he or his kids or grand kids could ever spend.

If he did go it won't be for money it will be to prove he can do the only thing he has failed at and that is be successful in the NFL.
and not only that, bama can match any realistic offer an NFL team puts on the table. He's making them a shitload of money

I wish he would leave... would be better for college football honestly... Im sure he wont though, he has his program rolling... couple of things why he would leave.. change of scenery, his competitive nature, a desire to prove to himself he can perform at the Pro Level, and would prob get whatever he wants. Reasons he would stay.. He's on top of the world and could get photographed snorting coke off a tranny's arse after committing murder and not a jury in alabama would convict him...

I've never been so sure of something in my life.

No way. He is god in AL making way too much money. No way he leaves what he has built for a bunch of whiny NFL players.

What else is there to accomplish at Alabama? NY can match anything he is making or better, and if he fails again in the NFL, he walks away in retirement with a nice $50 million. This is the 1st time I believe there is a chance Saban may leave for the NFL again.

With 1 more NC he becomes the all time leader in that stat, breaking a tie with Bear. With 2 more he holds the record at UA.

Is that more important than also succeeding in the NFL? Honestly, if he wants to coach in the NFL, this is his last chance given his age. It's time for him to give it another try.

1. most national titles by a coach (Saban is tied with Bryant with 6, needs 1 more to break his record)
2. most national titles at Alabama (Saban has 5, needs 1 to tie and 2 to break Bryant's record)
3. Most SEC wins all-time (Bryant has record with 159. Saban has 100 currently)

depends on the person. To Saban, probably

Hoping it's time for something and it actually being time for something are two different things. Saban isn't going anywhere, don't get your hopes up. This rumor is started every offseason.

I don’t think he does want to. I think his two years there cured him of that and he is very happy in college ball and in Tuscaloosa. He will never have more organizational support than he does now.
