Thankful that happened but it was unexcusable to finish that game that night. After an hour the SEC decide to finish that game with a giant hole in the roof and Bama players saying they were trying to play with a 20 mph wind in their face not to mention the players being shook and wondering about family members. It was awfully convenient to decide AFTER the Bama -State game that yea, we shouldn't be playing tonight and the next game was postponed. I will always believe that was total bullshite. If Gottfried had had any balls he wouldn't have took his team back on the court but he sucked so he did what we all thought he would do.
Right now the two hottest teams are Florida and St Johns. If Pitino wins it all he should be mentioned with Wooden. UConn won it all last year when in Jan they were pedestrian and got run by an average Providence team by 30. Going into the NCAAT they were the hottest team when I still don't believe they were the "best' team.
UGA is in no matter if they lose 45-0.
It's fine where it is. If it's a problem for some fanbases travel wise then they can go back to a conference that was more travel friendly.

Too many teams are getting chopped up this year due to no divisions.

I don't know man. I got tired of the east champ having a cakewalk every year. I also didn't like the fact that a 3 or 4 loss team could win the SEC by beating an undefeated team.
Ah yes, Corky Frost paid gene WELL to come public with that. Later on Too honest Terry Bowden reveals that Auburn was actually paying a group of people to dig up dirt on Bama.

Then years later Gene comes clean about the deal and wanted to be back in the Bama family again. Came to Ttown to help with Tornado relief in 2011 and nobody would even acknowledge him.
Yes, I remember. 180K is what it takes for a recruit to answer the phone now.

The NIL era isn't going anywhere. There was a charge back in the spring where some coaches and even politicians were getting involved to head this off. They were told to shut up and stop whining. They did. What idiots didn't get was It was going to hurt EVERYONE, not just the Bama's and Georgia's of the world.

Nobody has picked up the baton and is leading a charge to regulate this and I don't blame them. Don't look for anybody to anytime soon. You think the SMU's, Texas, A&M's, Ohio States and Michigans of the world want regulation?

“Easier solution. Cancel the CCG. Go back to pre-92 and have co-champs and let the CFB committee sort it out in the rankings. It only hurts the conference at this point.”

This is the only solution.
LSU has turned into ole miss. I tune into the game now and expect a uniform other than what they used to wear. I’m expecting a purple helmet before the season is over.

Who are the schools now that have only one pair of pants and only a dark and white jersey? I mean no throwbacks, etc either but only changing to a white Jersey on the road.
I have USC, Bama, penn st, auburn?
“The South Carolina defender picked the most vulnerable player on the field and hit him when he wasn’t looking. It was stupid, and it cost the team. This is not the referees fault, this is just bad discipline and bad coaching.”

When the qb throws a pick he becomes a defensive player and is subjected to being blocked as such. If we’re gonna say you can’t block the qb then don’t allow the qb to make a tackle either. Write it in the rule book that followings turnover the qb is basically a non player.

Tua was never what all you non Bama fans made him out to be. I've heard Moscona say Tua was the best QB in Bama history. LOL, that fricker wasn't even top 5. Here we go, Aj MCCarron, Joe Namath, Mac Jones, Richard Todd, Jeff Rutledge.

My gosh, how bad is Ms State

I don't even know why they keep football.
some quotes.

-The players and asst coaches are really what this is about
-My best memories are the 17 years I spent here
-I can't thank Mal Moore enough for giving me an opportunity to coach here
-Coaching at Alabama was the best opportunity I could have ever had

thanks Coach. You came and after horrific sanctions had made us an afterthought when we all knew days would be dark in the mid 2000's no matter who the coach was, you had 9 seniors on the 2008 team because of the sanctions but went unbeaten in the regular season which is still my favorite of your Bama tenure.
When you landed in Ttown you knew what was expected and never shied away from it. You didn't SET the standard, you MET the standard which is expected of all our coaches.
So good to see you stay in Ttown as this is now your home and expect about a 5 min ovation when the field is offically dedicated Saturday. As you were last saturday, we know you will be in BDS every saturday cheering on the Tide.

Good lord. Jimbo had won a national title. There are hundreds of worse examples. Jimbo isn't even close. Just some off the top of my head.

Yea, you'll have some good teams, a great team every now and then but you will never be dominant for years at a time as the blueblood programs do.

UGA is very good right now but Bama has handled them in games through history. Our focus is on OU and Texas and we'll see how well they do going forward.
LSU fans should be getting used to this. They need a HOME opener.
These neutral deals haven't been good to them.
Yea, yea, he beat an average to below average Bama team 2 years ago but he won't win the games that matter. Hell, he won bigger games at ND. He reminds me of Arnsparger. Get that win he wasn't supposed to get and drop a game to Miami (OH) and Ole Piss.
Hell, its still strange for me to see it on Arkansas's field.
