Shelby county. We had like 18K without power a couple hours ago. My wife's folks who are 7 miles away said they had a flicker but didn't lose it. Down the street a large bradford pear fell on a house. I guess it was concentrated but it was super intense here....

Damn...really? That sux. I started watching college basketball while he was at UCLA. To say he was dominant is one huge understatement. No college center ever literally owned the floor like the big redhead. The personality was just a bonus....
The early morning hours were a bitch. Couldn’t even get out of my neighborhood for downed trees. Thing is, when I went to bed there was a 40 percent chance of a “passing shower”...
No, they should be objective and rank teams. If it’s a rematch, so be it. No manipulation. The best team will win. Rematches are as overrated as crowd noise. Weather and traveling cross country on quick turnarounds are much more of a factor. ...
UT lost to the worst Bama team team since 1999. To pull out a Bama slogan that originated 45 years ago, nothing sux like a big orange....

Dude, LSU played great baseball all week. I didn't watch any of it but it seemed like they came from behind in every game they played from what i read. Take your youngsters to see them to see how you keep playing until the final out and never give up. Sports teaches us many lessons and this shoul...
It's time for Murphy to do something of Importance. Bama has massively underachieved the last few years. Bama needs to win something of note and this would certainly qualify. Beating UT makes it that much sweeter....
I've begun to feel like this the last week or so. I'm like you about baseball. It's not just that Bama sux at baseball. In my life I've been to 2 Bama baseball games and I got in free both times because it was like the 5th inning. I don't watch MLB either. Baseball is just too...whatever. Bori...
Dude, if it wasn’t for Bama your school wouldn’t be reaping the financial windfalls they are seeing. Bama got beat by the best team in the country in football and basketball and that’s sports. We can deal with it, surely you can. Go cry about losing somewhere else and blame your coaches and p...
I’ve always said the 2 biggest wins in sabans time were two national title games. Texas and notre dame. We had been shite against those 2 on the big stage. It wasn’t like they were beating some crap Bama teams either. They were beating some of the best teams in Bamas history. To get those 2 mon...
Iron Bowl in ttown. I ain’t worried about that one. I think Bama loses to OU though but beats LSU. Bama was so damn inconsistent last season I really just don’t know. ...
Arky belongs in this conversation too....
Frick that auburn record. That is Bama’s worst place to visit and it isn’t close. ...
Depending on what part of Bama you resided in, you’d also get UGA night games on WSB.
I grew up in NE Alabama and we could get the UGA, UT, Vandy, GT and sooooometimes could get the Ole Miss radio broadcast. I remember listening to the 1980 UGA-UT game when Herschel had his coming...

Actually it was 11:30 CST but yes. This is the ORIGINAL SEC game of the week. ABC had a contract for the SEC but also with the SWC, Big 8 and ACC at that time. Independents such as Miami, FSU, Penn St, Notre Dame were up for grabs for ABC or CBS. TBS only showed the SEC and it was a forerunner o...
Bammers miss Holman yet
He's pretty good no doubt but Benn Hess was the ace last season before losing him for the season. ...
DeBoer is a good coach, but there's absolutely no reason to have him ranked #2 in the nation.
Nah, he just has the highest winning percentage of any coach in the country. I know the SEC, blah blah but a good coach is a good coach. What people were waiting for was a hire like Ray ...

re: Good Series LSU

In baseball LSU is the standard like Bama football. It's becoming super apparent that NIL is evening the playing field in all sports. Bama doesn't have some huge collective in baseball so winning some of these series against the teams they have shows the potential but Alabama still has to get a lo...
