With the kind of money he's banking and his success in Alabama, he'll stay there until he is ready to retire. Yes, next edition of the Crimson Tide just might be pretty bad assed.

Fake news cause da boy ain't going nowhere till he breaks Bear's record 4 NCs ....

and O hope and pray he becomes the next Tiger Woods who gets so close and everybody expects him to break the record but he never does and dies a broken hearted old man.....

Like it matters... even if N$ left, we still can't keep pace in the SEC on the trajectory we're on...

Well if he bolts and Bama replaces him with Sylvester Croome, I think we’ve got a chance

I read a story a while back abut the Giants being the only plausible destination for Saban. Solid ownership in the Mara family and overall stability of the organization and whatnot (though they seemed anything but this year). It's still far-fetched, but if he went anywhere I think it would be there.

Saban discovered long ago that he wants nothing to do with:
1. coaching players that make more than he does
2. coaching in a league that is built to encourage an equal playing field
3. dealing with the politics of the NFL
4. being beholden to an owner and GM

Saban will never coach another game in the NFL.

Even if Saban bolts, we won’t be the beneficiary in the SEC...that would be Georgia and Auburn.

We middling programs don’t need to concern ourselves with those concerns

Saban and Arians both have/had lake houses on the same lake in north Georgia.

Saban won all those NCs because he has signed the #1 recruiting class almost every year he's been at Alabama.

He might as well. He certainly doesn’t need the money, and he can’t be having much fun just dominating college football the way he does. Worst case scenario, he fails again and is able to come back to college where at least 20 teams will be begging him to come coach.

I think he's having plenty of fun. Saban likes everyone knowing he's the best and watching the machine he created
